Name: Bidu

Age: Looks like he's in his early 20's but he has died, stayed in the other world and come back several times so it's impossible to tell his actual age.

Gender: Male

Race: Saiyajin

Power Level: 3

Techniques and their effects: Aside from the usual martial arts and ki blasts, his signature techniques are,
-Shishikuhametsuha (Lion roar destruction ball): Like a kamehameha. In fact, the base technique was deviced by ancient Saiyans many centuries before the DB/DBZ timeline, warriors who were later revived by the dragonballs and had learned it in the other world taught it to earth warriors and eventually some warriors like Roshi deviced their own versions of it, like his kamehameha. The shishikuhametsuha is just a variation from a different ancient school, but the the base of the technique, even the pose, remain almost the same, being it so, Bidu is able to give it all the same twists and variatons we've observed in the DBZ story.
-Ikaridama: (Spite bomb) At some point during his many stays at the other world, Bidu learned the genkidama (spirit bomb) from King Kai just like Goku did, but often found the technique particularly inconvenient because of the long charging periods and the fact that others have to be willing to give their energy. Then he thought maybe there could be a way device an anti-technique that could be more effective and realized there is one thing that is more abundant in the universe that spirit energy: hatred. So the Ikaridama is pretty much gathering hatred, wrath and that kind of dark feelings. The advantages are that it charges faster than a genkidama and that you don't have to "ask" for the energy to build it, in fact you just rip away that energy from whatever or whoever. Bidu can also add his own grudges to it for an extra punch or absorb it like Goku did, this last technique, however, is a bit risky because if he doesn't concentrate it may throw him into a berserk state. The main disadvantage is that it still needs time to charge up so, while he does that, he's vulnerable to enemy attacks.
-Tenbatsu no shishi-ken: (Heaven's wrath lion punch) A finisher much like Goku's Dragon fist explosion. Bidu, in fact, learned the dragon fist from Goku while he was in the other world and this is just his personal take on it.
-some other characteristics: His greatest strength is his superb concentration capabilities, that allow him for a greater control of his ki than that of regular super saiyans. Now, he may not be the most powerful of warriors, but what he lack in powers he makes it up in experience, wisdom and strategy. Since he can control his ki so well and has been around for thousands of years, he has mastered the super saiyan transformations to a point in which he is able to transform almost instantly and without any stress at all and even hold the super saiyan phase 3 transformation for longer periods than regular users of that transformation causing him no weariness whatsoever. Becasue of that, even though he is only in 3rd phase he may be able to hold his ground against, though not defeat, someone in SS4 level. He's not able to turn into SS4 because he lost his tail long ago.

Character History: Bidu is a saiyan that was born thousands of years before the DBZ timeline. In fact, he was one of the super saiyans for his generation, as they're said to only appear once every thousand years. He first turned into a super saiyan at age 17 by the rage caused when he lost the girl he loved dearly at the hands of one of many powerful villains, which he defeated. He let himself get killed later on, hoping he'd be able to rejoin his beloved one in the other world, but was never able to find her there. Dragonballs and the likes were not able to wish her back into life either, so he decided to just stay there. During that quest, he's been able to hone his skills and learn techniques from many masters like the Kais and even Goku himself, whom he admires a lot and that's why he sometimes wears a similar outfit. He has been revived often via dragonballs or other means when his help is needed but always chooses to return to the other world after the missions are over, so he can continue searching for his beloved. Presently, there is this race known as "Kiroiden" who consider him a legendary hero because he saved their planet once many centuries ago. Their planet is now once again in danger so they revived him and that's why he's able to be in this new Budokai saga.
Character wise, he is a pacifist who doesn't enjoy fighting at all. He in fact learned to fight just out of need to protect the people he loved but will avoid confrontations whenever possible. Even though he has great skills, he is no rush to show them off or tally his power against other opponents. If you ask him, all he really wants is to be left alone so he may continue searching for his beloved one... but just can't become deaf to the cries of innocent beings in need of his protection or to his love for justice.
